SuccessFactors LMS Consultant Roles & Responsibilities 

The SuccessFactors LMS Consultant is responsible for successful delivery of HR technology/process deliverables; particularly in SuccessFactors Learning Management System. The Consultant will also be flexible to assist in other responsibilities such as providing expertise on RFP proposals and support work with clients. The Consultant will be responsible for having knowledge of and understanding of the integration between SuccessFactors and other third-party software applications relating to HR solutions.

 

  • Expert consulting for SuccessFactors Learning Management Systems modules.
  • Conduct discovery meeting with customers, conveying effectively the purpose and value of the SAP Cloud HCM (SuccessFactors) solutions
  • Design and/or build learning solution to requirements in LMS
  • Integrate LMS with Jam as designed by LMS Admin
  • Integrate LMS with Jam as designed by LMS Admin. Lead
  • Manage technical support questions and issues from the learning mailbox
  • Create and configure Excel documents to successfully import into LMS
  • Upload and test courses to iContent and other content management systems (iDocs, SharePoint, BrightCove, UPerform)
  • Consult on reporting needs and LMS data
  • Consult on learning programs and solutions for groups who want to use the LMS
  • Accountable for day-to-day work and collaborate with project manager and team members to ensure a successful project outcome
  • Work independently on smaller pieces of work
  • Complete implementation projects on time and within budget
  • Manage the relationship with the customer and be the SAP primary “face' to the customer throughout the implementation process
  • Educate the customer on employee database and technical requirements
  • Provide best-practice guidance on customer processes and knowledge on how to leverage the solution to add value to organization
  • Document and track customer product enhancement requests and discovered product issues.
  • Provide train-the-trainer, administrative, and reporting training to the customer
  • Configure solution using xml code and front-end support tools to meet customer needs
  • Act as a translator between customer requirements and technical requirements
  • Document customer business needs, implemented/configured processes, and any unresolved open action-items; deliver this documentation to Customer Support.

 

Required Professional Expertise :

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 1-2 years of implementing LMS solutions
  • SuccessFactors LMS certification
  • Experience with managing quality assurance processes for software implementations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction, collaboration and self-learning
  • Knowledge of XML or HTML would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments with shifting priorities at the same time
  • Experience and ability to translate business requirements to system configuration
  • Experience re-engineering HR business processes
  • Experiencing developing functional business integration requirements
  • Experience with 3rd party integration providers
