The HR IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering IT solutions that support HR processes and organizational goals. This role manages end‑to‑end HR system implementations and enhancements, collaborates with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with business requirements. Key responsibilities include overseeing requirement gathering and process analysis, project planning, system configuration and testing coordination oversight, change management, and assuring post‑go‑live support. Technologies may vary depending on project assignments. 

 

YOUR MISSIONS

  • Lead and manage HR IT projects from initiation to implementation
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments
  • Ensure appropriate project staffing and role assignments
  • Gather and lead documentation of business requirements from HR stakeholders
  • Translate HR needs into technical specifications for IT teams and vendors
  • Coordinate system configurations, integrations, and data migration activities
  • Ensure project delivery within agreed budget and time frame
  • Manage communication between HR, IT, and external service providers
  • Oversee testing activities (SIT, UAT) and ensure issue resolution
  • Drive change management
  • Monitor post‑go‑live performance and support ongoing enhancements
  • Prepare project status reports and present updates to leadership
  • Manage continuous improvements (AMS)

 

YOUR PROFILE :

 

  • Bachelor's, Master's or PHD Degree 
  • 3+ years project management experience, preferably in the context of HR IT implementations within international and hybrid project setups
  • Consultancy experience will be highly regarded
  • Experience with workforce management software is a benefit
  • Structured, results driven, with proven attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving skills.
  • Facilitation and workshop experience
  • Excellent business communications and presentations skills
  • Ability to work with multiple deadlines and stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Excellent German & English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally (highly dependent on project assignment)
