A senior SAP SuccessFactors Integration resource works closely with clients and project team members to lead integration development workstream through successful delivery of quality integration solutions and services.  The team member partners with valued clients, performing analysis, development, support, testing and documentation of HCM software.  With the knowledge of the given software solution, he/she contributes to the HR Path knowledgebase and support/mentor fellow team members and sales initiatives.


Senior SAP SuccessFactors Integration Resource Roles & Responsibilities:

For a Senior SAP SuccessFactors Integration member to be successful at their job, at a minimum, he/she will need to:


  • Be able to mentor and guide less experienced resources on the development team
  • Work with project managers to ensure successful on-time completion of integrations work stream deliverables
  • Lead customer workshops to define requirements
  • Drive client to leverage best practices in the user of the HCM solution
  • Advanced knowledge of implementation methodology and project management concepts
  • Develop integration solutions using SAP ABAP
  • Develop integration solutions using SAP CPI
  • Develop integration solutions using Dell Boomi
  • Understand the HCM data model and can oversee data loads from and to other solutions
  • Conduct research on topics within the field of HCM or basic HR processes
  • Actively shares knowledge with colleagues


Required Professional Expertise:

To successfully accomplish this job, at a minimum, the following job requirements are needed:


  • Involvement in at least 8 full project implementations
  • 7+ years of experiences in integrations development in SAP HCM and SuccessFactors
  • 3+ years of experiences designing/building integrations in SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integrations)
  • 2+ years of experiences designing/building integrations in Dell Boomi (Cloud Platform Integrations)
  • Significant knowledge and experiences working in IPaaS
  • Expert knowledge in SAP ABAP programming in HR (PNP, PNPCE, Infotype Modules, Infotype Decoupled Framework, LSMW, ALE/iDocs, User-Exits, BAdI’s, SmartForms, Web Dynpro, tec.)
  • Multiple experiences working with SuccessFactors to SAP integrations (replication, P2P, etc.)
  • Expert knowledge in SuccessFactors data models, API’s, and integrations tools (CompoundEmployee, OData API’s, Integration Center, etc.)
  • Expert skills in JSON, XML, XSD, and XSLT
  • Fluent programming skills various programming languages including Java and Groovy
  • Disciplined design and organization in programming coding and object design including naming conventions, modularization, and readability
  • Significant knowledge and experiences in SLDC (Software Lifecycle Development Process)
  • Experienced and skilled in building reusable solutions and toolsets
  • Ability to mentor and guiding team members
  • Ability to manage project deliverables and meet project deadlines
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or HR Path employees
  • Skilled in translating technical concepts into functional level usage for clients, both verbally and in written format
