YOUR MISSIONS
The Payroll Specialist will support accurate and timely processing of weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll processes and provide administrative support on assigned payroll tasks.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll.
- Prepares pre and post processing payroll reports and distributes to managers for reconciliation and approval.
- Audits/reconciles time and attendance data for clients.
- Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information and responding to inquiries via email or phone.
- Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Maintains client confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping sensitive information confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Trains new payroll specialists, as needed.
- Maintains payroll records.
- Processes voids/reversals, stop payments, returned bank items.
- Processes off-cycle payments as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
YOUR PROFILE
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is required.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 1 or more years of experience in payroll processing is preferred.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to work independently with tight timelines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of payroll, payroll taxes, and applicable regulations.
- Capable of a "hands on" approach at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Pay:
- From $50,000.00 per year
Physical setting:
- Hybrid work schedule of 3 days working in office & 2 days working from home
